Inclusive gathering space that honors heritage and ongoing traditions

The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's new 100,000 SF Community Center offers an inclusive gathering space that honors their heritage and supports ongoing traditions. Strategically located next to the Great Lawn and Plaza, it features a full commercial kitchen, gymnasium, and conference rooms. AHBL's landscape architects designed pathways connecting the center to nearby facilities, ensuring safe navigation near Hwy 164. Native plants, identified with the help of Valerie Segrest, a Muckleshoot Tribe member and plant expert, were incorporated to support cultural cooking traditions. The center will host events like salmon bakes, drawing over 10,000 visitors annually.
