As members of the design/build project team, AHBL provided grading, utility extension design and sidewalk design to the new $22 million University Y Student Center. Located at the corner of 18th and Market streets in downtown Tacoma, the 70,000 sf, 3-story building includes a gymnasium, cardio and weight training facilities, indoor walking/jogging track, multipurpose exercise rooms, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and student government and club space. With this mix of uses, the facility simultaneously reaches into the heart of campus life and bridges out to the community.
