Van Asselt School campus recently received a full modernization to its original historic landmark 1909 building, along with a partial 8,500 SF renovation of the 1950s building addition, and 52,000 SF of new construction for a classroom and gym building. Seattle Public Schools district plans to use the campus as a swing site to be used by other schools during their own renovations or replacement construction.

AHBL provided civil engineering services including water main, fire sprinkler service, a wet portable relocation feasibility study, utility connections, new ADA ramps, on-site improvements, stormwater improvements including on-site stormwater management, non-infiltration areas, new parking, and right-of-way improvements for the 9.5-acre site.
