Low-Maintenance Landscape Solutions for Modern Fire Facility

AHBL provided landscape architecture services for the design of a new $7M 12,570 SF fire station. The building houses six personnel including firefighter medical technical and firefighter paramedics, two engines and an EMS unit with room to expand. The building incorporates modern decontamination systems as well. AHBL landscape architects provided a low water use, low maintenance landscape design. The project’s plant material was chosen for its low water use and as an example of landscaping with fire safety in mind around structures.
