AHBL Promotions 2024

2024 begins with promotions of key individuals on the AHBL team.

AHBL is kicking off the new year with promotions of key individuals on the AHBL team. Bart Brynestad, PE has been promoted to Principal, and Scott Kaul, PE has been promoted to Associate Principal.  These individuals have provided years of excellent customer service, strong project management and technical knowledge in their fields. They each bring enthusiasm and passion for engineering and will continue to manage a portfolio of projects for the company and mentor their respective teams. Each of these team members have made a lasting impression on our clients and their projects.

Bart BrynestadAfter a year as Associate Principal, Bart Brynestad, PE has been promoted to Principal within the Civil Division at AHBL. Bart is an experienced civil engineer with 10 years of technical experience on all aspects of land development engineering. His experience includes leading the civil design on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Bart has experience with many municipalities throughout Washington and Oregon which allows him to utilize his relationships to negotiate on behalf of his private client’s projects. This helps them meet their goals and schedules during the land use, permitting, and construction phases. As a Principal, Bart will be responsible for ensuring AHBL’s private and land development market continues to flourish.

Scott-KaulScott Kaul, PE has been promoted to an Associate Principal within the Civil Division at AHBL. Scott is an experienced civil engineer with 18 years’ experience designing a variety of project types including residential, commercial, municipal, educational, military, and industrial. Scott’s technical experience includes a broad knowledge of site development including entitlements, site utility design and calculations, site grading, storm drainage design, and construction administration. Scott will continue to manage projects for developers and architects on single family subdivision, multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use project types. As an Associate Principal, Scott will continue to manage his portfolio of work and work closely with the principals to learn AHBL’s business model and contribute to its continued success.
