Landscape design that supports operations and community service
AHBL partnered with TCA to deliver comprehensive landscape architecture services for Central Pierce Station 60, beginning with site investigation, vegetation documentation, zoning review, and early coordination with Pierce County to support the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) process. Our team prepared schematic design materials—including base drawings, planting concepts, preliminary plant selections, and narrative descriptions—that informed CUP submittals and guided design team coordination. Throughout the project, AHBL worked closely with TCA, the owner, and agency reviewers to refine the design and integrate required updates. During construction, we reviewed bid items, participated in the kickoff meeting, conducted site inspections, answered contractor questions, and evaluated planting, soil, and irrigation submittals. Final inspections confirmed that the landscape installation met design intent and agency requirements, resulting in a complete and well‑coordinated landscape solution for the new fire station.
