Designing playful spaces for early childhood growth

Partnering with the Graham Baba Architects and Chervenell Construction design-build team, AHBL delivered comprehensive landscape architecture for the Seedlings Center—a modern ECEAP preschool serving 80 children and 10 staff members. AHBL transformed the 1-acre site into a vibrant outdoor environment featuring natural play areas, strategic walkways, trike paths, and secure fencing. Balancing playful imagination with technical precision, our team developed climate-tailored planting and irrigation plans, detailed all custom playground furnishings, and ensured strict compliance with City of Yakima zoning and Washington DCYF standards.
