AHBL provided civil engineering services for the Richland Public Safety Building 76, supporting site development with a focus on sustainability, resilience, and community-first design. The team delivered grading, drainage, utility layouts, and erosion control plans, along with stormwater, sewer, water, and fire protection systems that met Eastern Washington’s 2019 stormwater standards. Offsite improvements included a 1,500-foot gravity sewer extension and assistance with permitting.

Throughout construction, AHBL remained actively involved—supporting bidding, reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and attending weekly virtual meetings. The result is a code-compliant, durable facility that reflects Richland’s commitment to safety, accessibility, and public service.
