Low‑water landscape design complements Station 84 operations

AHBL provided landscape architecture services for Station 84, a 21,800 SF fire station and administrative facility on a 4.7-acre site. The 16,663 SF main building includes four equipment bays, crew living quarters, and space for 12 administrators, while a 5,100 SF storage building adds five bays for fire apparatus. Designed to support a six-minute response time, the single-story station houses a medic, ladder, rescue, and water tender team. AHBL’s landscape design features drought-tolerant plants and a subsurface irrigation system for efficient, low-maintenance water use.
