AHBL provided structural engineering and land surveying services for improvements at Browns Point Elementary School in Tacoma. Working closely with Tacoma Public Schools and the project team, AHBL supported design development through structural evaluation of proposed modifications to the school’s light-gage steel framing system, providing stamped calculations and engineering recommendations to verify constructability and performance. To support site improvements and right-of-way planning, AHBL also completed topographic surveying and mapping along Browns Point Boulevard, documenting existing pavement, curbs, utilities, and other site features. The team coordinated utility locating efforts and prepared right-of-way dedication documents, providing accurate site data to inform design coordination, permitting, and construction.
