Wesley Homes Des Moines

Wesley Des Moines is a 42‑acre, multi‑phase senior living campus offering 375 residences and a full continuum of care, supporting a community of up to 600 residents near downtown Des Moines. AHBL has supported the long‑term redevelopment of the campus with integrated civil engineering, structural engineering, landscape architecture, and land surveying services. Phase II added approximately 316,000 SF of new development, including a five‑story residential building over structured parking and a three‑story town center. Phase III introduced additional assisted living, memory care, and wellness facilities, highlighted by an exterior skybridge over South 216th Street and a wellness center with an indoor pool. Ongoing Phase IV improvements focus on modernizing existing buildings through seismic evaluation, tenant improvements, façade upgrades, and structural modifications, supporting the campus’s continued evolution into a welcoming, progressive senior living community.
