Harbor Heights is a vibrant 55+ senior living community located just off the marina in downtown Olympia. The seven-story mixed-use building includes 116 apartment units, retail and office space, and over 20,000 SF of amenity areas, including a rooftop patio overlooking Budd Inlet. AHBL provided structural engineering for the four-story wood-framed residential levels above a three-story concrete and steel podium. To address liquefaction-prone soils, our team designed deep pile foundations and collaborated closely with the design team to value-engineer the structure. Additional services included stairway and balcony design, as well as structural support for commercial tenant improvements.
