AHBL provided civil engineering for the 3,900 SF expansion to the existing Chapel on the Whitworth University campus. Site improvements include grading, stormwater management, water, sewer, and fire access needed to accommodate the building construction. The Chapel’s $2.8 million addition leads to greater synergy between the campus ministry, the theology department, and the Office of Church Engagement.

Additionally, the expansion provides offices for over 20 faculty, staff and student employees, and a new gathering space for students full of light with wide conversation hallways. The 6,000 SF renovated chapel now offers additional seating, improved audiovisual systems, and a remodeled conference room.
