Tahoma School District Breaks Ground on State's Largest High School

AHBL provided civil engineering, planning & surveying services

AHBL’s Todd Sawin joined in on the groundbreaking festivities for the new Tahoma High School and regional learning center. At 315,000-sf and capacity for 2,400 students in grades 9-12, it will be the state’s largest high school. The school is sited on 35 acres that were once part of Elk Run Golf Course, which closed last year. AHBL provided civil engineering, land use planning, and land surveying services for the project. OAC Services is the project manager, with DLR Group providing architecture and Skanska acting at GC/CM. The $121 million dollar facility is set to open in September 2017.
