AHBL Celebrates Earth Day in Tacoma, Federal Way, and Seattle

Nearly 25 AHBL staffers and family members spent part of Saturday, April 22, celebrating Earth Day by volunteering at local Puget Sound parks. In Tacoma, we had nearly 15 volunteers at Point Defiance Park. 2017 marks the eighth year we have spent beautifying Point Defiance through their Parks Appreciation Day festivities.

We also volunteered at Alderbrook Park in Federal Way this year, where we cleared invasive species, repaired a walking path, and spruced up the playground.

In Seattle, we celebrated by volunteering at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle. We have volunteered for the last two years here, and enjoy helping to enhance this beautiful piece of Seattle history.
