The core value of being visible in our communities was set early in AHBL’s inception. AHBL employees have embraced this value and turned it into everyday culture. Many employees volunteer throughout the year, giving their time to youth development programs, food drives that feed communities, environmental clean-ups, and other opportunities where their expertise can be of service.
Throughout the year, AHBL employees have given their time to help support the efforts of the following organizations:
AHBL volunteers helped install a new split rail fence, a new outdoor amphitheater with bench seating, GaGa Ball pit, landscaping, and playground improvements.
Metro Parks Tacoma – Oak Tree Park Cleanup
AHBL families participated in efforts to restore the natural areas in Tacoma’s Oak Tree Park, including removing invasive plant species.
A4LE – Service Day at Tillicum Elementary School
AHBL team members rolled up their sleeves with other industry design teams and general contractors to build site improvements for a local Lakewood Elementary School.
